Giselle met Austin on her way to get a job at the local bistro. Needless to say, as handsome as he was, she didn’t bother going on her way to apply. And when he took an interest in her, her heart melted and she felt like a kid in a candy store, and his eyes were the candies.

After that, the two were inseparable. Giselle and Austin did everything together. They ate, slept and watched TV together, to name a few. And Austin was a romantic. He’d take Giselle out to the Bistro every night so she could preview what she’d be making when she applied for a job – she still hadn’t. Giselle just hadn’t gotten around to it; No time, now, with Austin in her life.

Giselle was really falling for this guy. And she thought he felt the same way. The look in his eyes was always so genuine and honest, and he was sweet. Or she thought he was sweet falling for her…until he broke up with her one day at the pool.

“I just don’t like the way your body looks in a bikini, babe.” He said cooly after spitting at her, ‘I can’t go through with this anymore. We’re done.’

“I’m a size 2! What do you want me to be? A short little twiglet? I already am, and I can’t help it if I’m not up to your ridiculous size standards because I’m a chef and I have to eat, something you obviously don’t want your girlfriend to do!” Giselle shrieked. People started to stare.
“Yourself a chef? You’re unemployed, Giselle!” Austin muttered furiously, hoping not to cause more of a scene than they were making.
Giselle had no further remarks after that comment. Austin had struck a nerve. She just walked away. And where did she go? To the bistro, of course, to get herself a job. And she did. They accepted her right after they tasted her simple but delectable 30-second salad made of romaine lettuce, cheese, nuts, orange/tangerine slices and chicken topped with her personal dressing recipe.

And that was how Giselle met. Pierre. He was the dessert chef for the bistro and, one day after work, gave Giselle a few tips for cutting meat.
“You have to let the knife do the work. You don’t need as much pressure as you do letting the rigid edge of the blade make it’s way-” Pierre’s voice started to fade out of her mind as she looked into his sparkling hazel eyes. They were clean and pure, unlike the now foggy and tainted ones she had seen on Austin while he was breaking up with her.

He left immediately after. Then the next day, Giselle was at the beach making hot dogs for herself and Salem. Pierre showed up coincidentally.

They actually talked about non-work related stuff, which was…nice. They both seemed to enjoy it.

And then Giselle left that time. The two met again later that day at Central Park. It seemed more awkward.
“Are you stalking me?” Pierre asked, lacking the french accent that Giselle thought he would have in spite of his french name: Pierre Lefevre.
“I could ask you the same thing.” Giselle said with a tiny, playful, innocent smirk on her face.

And when they met at the private park in the suburban area of town three days later, they knew this was no coincidence. Some greater force was drawing them towards each other. And since she was single, Giselle was not going to pass this opportunity up.

And as soon as they shared their first kiss, Giselle knew that the “love” that she had thought she had when it came to Austin wasn’t as intense as this.

Now she was truly in love.

That night, Salem completed her lifetime wish. She was now a master thief.

Romeo had been spending more time with Gabrielle lately. And there was no denying that he was in love with the girl that he used to have no interest in. And since Dani just recently got married to Patryk and were expecting their first child, he felt it was his turn: he was thinking about proposing.

And the couple was inseparable, both out on the town and in the bedroom.

One afternoon at about 5 PM, Romeo got a call from Gabrielle.
“I’m on your front lawn. I need to see you right now.” Her voice was shaking slightly.
“Okay, gimme a sec.” Romeo responded nervously. What’s going on? He thought anxiously.

When Romeo got outside, he could see Gabrielle pacing around the lawn in a baggy dress, talking to herself. She looked very upset so Romeo started to worry.
“What’s up, baby? Is everything alright?” He asked as he approached her. She turned around quickly and walked towards him, her heart pounded as she tried to find the right words to say.
“Well, not really, Romeo. I don’t know how else to say this but just to spit it out: I’m pregnant.” She said, still searching for the right words to get all of her feelings out. Romeo stood there with his mouth open, staring into space. Gabrielle started sobbing before he woke out of his daze. He then took her into his arms and softly asked, “We’re having a baby?”
Abbey looked up at him with a tear-stained face and replied, “Yes. I’m sorry, Romeo. I know we didn’t plan for this, but…”

He put a finger to her lips and said, “Shhh, it’s ok. I love you and we’ll get through this. But why are you so upset?”
Gabrielle bowed her head and said, “Because this baby isn’t planned. I didn’t plan to have a kid for at least 5 more years, and now look at me!”
Romeo thought to himself for a minute, This is the perfect time, Romeo. Do it! and then he said, “You wouldn’t be upset if we were married, would you? Then it might make up for a bit of the unplanned-ness?” Gabrielle frowned and exclaimed, “Romeo! I don’t want to get married just because of this baby. That’s never a good reason.”
Romeo then dropped down on one knee and said, “Gabrielle Lucille Westin, I’ve wanted to marry you for a long time, and I don’t want to marry you now because of this baby. I want to marry you because I’m so in love with you that I can’t take you not being mine forever. I know we can make this marriage work. This baby was a product of love, and this relationship was based on nothing but love, so will you marry me?”
Gabrielle stood there speechless, her heart began pounding fiercely once more. Romeo’s breath quickened awaiting her answer. A tear trickled down Gabrielle’s face as she replied, “Romeo, stand up.”
Romeo’s face fell as he got up from his knees. Then A waterfall of tears ran down Gabrielle’s face as she replied, “Romeo, get up.” Tanner’s face fell as he got up, wishing he could crawl in a hole and die. But he thought too soon, because before he knew it, Gabrielle jumped into his arms and whispered, “Yes, I will marry you, Romeo! I love you!”

Author’s Notes:
- Just out of this chapter, I’ve earned 4 legacy points: I hit the $600,000 mark, I made Juliette paint a portrait of Giselle, Salem completed her lifetime wish and she got over 100,000 aspiration awards.
- I don’t live up to my name. My name is Grace and I am by no means graceful: My newest example of this fact is that my ping pong table just fell on me. I can assure you I will not be doing my runway show tomorrow, because just when my leg healed it’s bruised and icky.
- Thanks ping pong table.
- Expect some chapters soon since I also messed my hand up today and cannot draw.
- So, yes, my name is Grace, I speak 7 languages, I’m a professional model and an artist that plays…sims 3. Odd combo, huh? And I’m ungraceful. Which doesn’t help on the catwalk. :/
haha model, speaks tons of languages and loves sims 3 = great combo. I love your story and this chapter was great :)
